Visit to the Moinho da Juventude
At the second day of the partner meeting, the project team had the opportunity to go on a field trip to the youth centre Moinho da Juventude in the troubled Couva da Moura neighborhood in the Lisbon area. There was a lot to learn about the projects and efforts in the neighbourhood to provide opportunities for local youth. After a traditional Cape Verdean lunch, local youth leader Reginaldo took us around to show us the neighbourhood. We also visited the music production studio where our partner CAI will work with local youth on the production of a rap song for the SPGs project.
