Meeting Members of the European Parliament – Italy

The Italian team of SPGs young participants had the opportunity to meet the Member of European Parliament Tiziana Beghin (Non-attached Members), welcoming her in Zenit youth centre, on the peripheral hills of Genoa.

The informal atmosphere of the meeting allowed a fluid conversation and exchange, discussing policies and topics important for the future of young people in Europe.
The youngsters had many questions, and the MEP answered them all, further fuelling the engagement of SPGs participants on the topics of sustainable development and active citizenship discussed during the ongoing group activities, as well as fostering their interest in the European elections of June.

In the end of 2023 the youngsters had the opportunity to meet the Brando Benifei, Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats, who will soon return to the Zenit. The meeting with Marco Campomenosi, Identity and Democracy Group, is scheduled for next week.
